The Chancellor's Scholar is a prestigious scholarship awarded annually to the country's most gifted and talented youths with a genuine interest in pursuing a career in academia at UBD.  The holders of this scholarship will receive exemplary education at the Master's and/or Doctorate degrees at  first-class universities worldwide.  Scholars of high calibre will be nurtured with personal development programmes, mentorship, and placements with academics at UBD and overseas institutions.  Candidates will contribute as academics and researchers as well as future leaders, managers and planners of UBD.  The candidate will have a chance to be part of the country's effort to improve and enhance its reputation and quality.
